The book-signing at AstroFest on Saturday 7th February 2009 went extremely well with brisk sales in both the morning and afternoon sessions. It was also the first time Noel & I got to see the complete book – and I must say Springer have done a great job on it – if you buy Star Vistas I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Then on Tuesday 10th February, Noel & I went down to see Sir Patrick Moore in Selsey and to present him with his personalised copy of Star Vistas. We had a great day there and saw the reflector and refurbished refractor in Patrick’s observatories.
Noel has now returned to Florida after a marathon 22 hours in planes, trains and coaches – and we are both now working on getting the images together for Star Vistas II
